Download Instagram Videos and Images with Hams

Open a public Instagram post in Hams and wait for the video, image, or carousel content to load. When Hams finds downloadable videos or images, the download panel shows previews and file details.

Currently available on Google Play. An iOS version is in development.

Support scope

Public Instagram posts with video or image media.
Reels and carousel posts are in compatibility testing and depend on how the page loads.
Stories, private accounts, login pages, and settings pages are not download promises.

Steps

Open Instagram in Hams.
Go to a public post that contains a video or image.
Play the video or wait for images and carousel items to load.
Open the download panel.
Filter by video or image and preview the items.
Choose what you need and save it to your device.

Quality and saving

Available quality depends on the versions Instagram provides on the page. Hams shows only the items and quality choices it can detect.

Limits

Hams only shows content that the webpage provides, you can access, and the app can find.
Hams does not bypass private accounts, sign-in gates, paid content, DRM, or other access controls.
If the page only shows a cover image, screenshot, or external preview, the target video may not appear in the download panel.

If no download button appears

Confirm that the content is a public post.
Play the video or wait for carousel images to load.
If you are on a login, popup, or settings page, return to the content page.
If the panel still does not appear, use the guide for videos or images missing from the download panel.
