Troubleshooting guide

What to do when a Hams download fails, gets stuck, or does not save

After a download task has started, failures are usually related to network interruptions, device storage, page access, or the media state provided by the webpage. Check these items in order before starting the download again.

Download Hams

Confirm the site is supported

  • Check whether the current website is within Hams' supported scope.
  • If the download panel never appeared, first use the troubleshooting guide for videos or images missing from the download panel.

Confirm that the media has loaded

  • Play the target video first.
  • Scroll or expand the page so the target images load.
  • Refresh the page once, then open the download panel again.

When the download task fails

  • Check that the network is stable.
  • Confirm that the device has enough storage space.
  • Continuing or retrying after a pause starts the download from the beginning. Hams does not support resumable downloads.

FAQ

Will retrying continue from where the download stopped?

No. Hams does not support resumable downloads. Retrying starts the download again.

What if the download panel never appears?

That means the video or image did not appear in the download panel; it is not a download task failure. First check the guide for "No videos or images found on the webpage."
