Open a public Douyin video page in Hams and let the video start playing or finish loading. When Hams finds a downloadable video, the download panel shows a preview and file details.
Support scope
- Videos on public Douyin video pages.
- Downloadable content that is actually loaded by the public page.
- Private accounts, sign-in pages, verification pages, and settings pages are not supported.
Steps
- Open the Douyin video page in Hams.
- Confirm that the target video can play on the current page.
- Wait for the page to finish loading.
- Open the download panel.
- Preview the item and choose an available version provided by the webpage.
- Tap download and check progress in the Download Center.

Quality and saving
Available quality depends on the media versions provided by the Douyin page. Hams does not promise that every video has multiple versions, does not remove watermarks, and does not modify the original content.
Limits
- Hams can only find content that the webpage provides, that you are allowed to access, and that the app can detect. Whether it can be downloaded also depends on the page loading method and media format.
- Hams does not bypass private accounts, sign-in gates, paid content, DRM, or other access controls.
- If the page only shows a cover image, screenshot, or external preview, the target video may not appear in the download panel.
- Hams does not promise watermark removal and does not alter the original content.
If no download button appears
- Confirm that the video can play on the current page.
- If the page is stuck on sign-in or verification, finish access first and return to the content page.
- Refresh the page once, then open the download panel again.

Can Hams remove Douyin video watermarks?
No. Hams only tries to save content that the webpage actually provides, that you can access, and that the app can find. It does not promise watermark removal.
Why can the video play but no download button appears?
The media may not have fully loaded, the page structure may be incompatible, access or region limits may apply, or Hams may not be able to process the current media format.
